Almost all pregnant women experience morning sickness symptoms like nausea and vomiting. Usually, morning sickness symptoms start from 5th week of pregnancy till 12th
week of pregnancy.
It is believed that morning sickness happens to occur due to changes in hormones in the women’s body during pregnancy. Hormones such as human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG), estrogen and progesterone are thought to be the cause of morning sickness during pregnancy.

Morning sickness symptoms can be avoided adopting some healthy tips as mentioned below:
1. Eat small but frequent meals instead of having two or three heavy meals.
2. Before getting out of bed in the morning take some bites of dry biscuit.
3. Breathe in fresh air, it is soothing.
4. Avoid taking excess tea and keep away drinking more coffee.
5. Lessen your fluid intake for some days.
6. Eat your favorite foods or try to understand which food puts you on.
7. Keep away from strong smells as they can induce nausea.
8. Sipping light tea and sucking a lime helps decrease your morning sickness.
9. Do not wear tight clothes when you are undergoing morning sickness.
10. If morning sickness turns to hyperemesis gravidarum, consult your doctor and have some special treatment.

ReplyDeleteAlmost every pregnant woman experiences morning sickness in the first trimester. Sometimes, it becomes so severe to cause dehydration and fatal outcome.
However, it is easy to manage, and if it is severe (hyperemesis gravidarum) immediately contact your doctor.
